We're Wild - White Glade Meadow

A gorgeous grassy meadow.

Freedom galloped in, snaking his head out and shaking his neck,whipping his mane around and smiling. He slowed to a stop and waited for Winter.

Winter arrived, skidding to a stop.

Freedom smiled and tossed his head. "Pretty place." he commented.

"Yeah," smiled Winter, with mischief and mystery in her eyes, twinkling bright teal.

Freedom tossed his head and smiled slowly.

Winter smiled, "Come on," she cantered to the lake, stopping a while away.

Freedom trotted after her and stopped at the water's edge, a mischievous grin spread over his face. He plunged into the water, shivering as the cold droplets splashed up onto him. He turned towards Winter and lowered his muzzle to the water, then tossed it up, sending some water splashing over her.


Flame trotted into the meadow and smiled slightly.

Winter smiled, but backed off. The ridge on the opposite side of the lake was taller. She raced, and leapt up. She stopped, turned, and jumped into the water, splashing it all over.

Freedom laughed and shook out his dripping mane.

Winter shrieked and laughed, swimming about.

Freedom tossed his head and swam after her, laughing again. "I'm a big nasty shark coming to get you!"

Winter laughed and dove underwater.

Freedom nosed the water, not wanting to go under.

Winter swam deeper into the water.

Tossing his head he hesitated then took a deep breathe and dived under, not going to far under the water's surface.

Winter moved each of her legs in turn, treading the water. She surfaced, gasped for air, and shook her long mane, sending water droplets everywhere.

Freedom surfaced shortly after and sneezed. He allowed the water to tumble down his black body, smiling and treading water.
